J. Brandon Johnson concentrates his practice primarily on business law, mergers and acquisitions, technology, private equity, marketing, closely held businesses, litigation, and other issues related to business law. Brandon is currently Chair of the Kentucky Bar Association's Business Law Section. Starting as in-house counsel at a large international corporation, Brandon now assists small to medium sized businesses in a range of matters. Brandon achieves client objectives by gaining a thorough understanding of the issues and tailoring a strategy to fit the client. Brandon's practice also extends to family law and estate planning, particularly business succession planning. He has successfully represented clients in courts around the Commonwealth and firmly believes his litigation experience helps his transactional clients.
When not working, Brandon volunteers with the Legal Aid and has served on several non-profit boards and organizations, including serving as Chairman of the Board of YPAL Cares. Brandon enjoys spending time with his wife and is passionate about helping others, fitness, and the outdoors.
